Pools

Start to finish (work in progress)

With this project, the homeowner wanted to modify a pool area which was already there when the current homeowner purchased the home in 1976, over 25 years ago. When the homeowner purchased the home, the pool liner was replaced. The pool liner needed replacing badly and the cement had deteriorated badly.

There will be a video with the before, during and after images - which will come later. For now, here are photos and the steps of converting the pool area to a new area.

  • First American Concrete Raising came to raise the old cement.
  • Second, additional cement was added to extend the pool area. This needs to set for 30 days before the resurfacing can be done.
  • Third Hammond Fence Put in the new fense and removed the old fense.
  • Fourth the pool man suggested we test the lines (the homeowner didn't think of telling the pool man that all the cement work was going to be done) A break was found.

This is the current project - to fix the break under the cement. - new cement will need to replace the repair area. Since 30 days afterward will take us to the end of October, 2003,

  • The remaining will be done in the spring.
    • resurfacing the cement
    • replace the pool vinyl choice is with Tri-city Vinyl
